Rachel Klein to Open RFK Kitchen in Needham

A well-known Boston-area chef who has worked at several popular spots in the region is going to be opening her own restaurant west of the city.

Eater Boston is reporting that executive chef Rachel Klein of Liquid Art House in Boston is opening RFK Kitchen in Needham, with the Great Plain Avenue spot having a "fun, urban feel" that includes a 20-seat counter, a traditional dining area, and a bar. The article says that the restaurant will offer a chef's tasting menu and will also have a regular menu, and that it will be family friendly while also appealing to the "foodie."

In addition to Liquid Art House, Rachel Klein has also been executive chef at Asana, Aura, Tamo, and OM.

[February 24, 2016 update: A press release states that the chef de cuisine at RFK Kitchen will be Stacy Cogswell, who also worked at Liquid Art House (and most recently at Barcelona in Brookline) and was a contestant on Season 12 of  Bravo's "Top Chef" which took place in Boston.]
