Earls Kitchen + Bar to Open at the Prudential Center in Boston's Back Bay

A small Canadian chain of restaurants that opened its first Boston-area location last year is planning to open a second location, and this one will be in one of the busiest parts of the city.

Zagat is reporting that Earls Kitchen + Bar is opening within the new wing of the Shops at the Prudential Center, with the upcoming location being a multi-level spot with 14,500 square feet of space. According to the article, the dining and drinking place will include a "lobby bar" on the first level, a main dining area with seating for 300 on the second level, and a rooftop patio on the third level, with 200 seats, firepits, a shade tree, and a retractable roof. If all goes as planned, expect to see the new location of Earls Kitchen + Bar open in the fall of 2016.

A location of Earls can currently be found at Assembly Row in Somerville, with that one initially opening its doors last September.
