Uno Due Go to Expand; Another Location Planned for Boston

Two months after it shut down one of its concepts, a Boston-based chain of restaurants that features deep-dish pizza is now making plans to expand another concept.

According to an article in the Boston Business Journal, Uno Restaurant Holdings is looking to expand its group of Uno Due Go eateries, which currently has one standalone location in Boston's Downtown Crossing along with other locations at Cleveland State University, the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, and the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. The post says that a second location of the casual, quick-service spot is planned for Boston and there could be more coming to other parts of New England as well over the next three to five years. (The full-service Uno Chicago Grill chain may also be expanding as well, according to the BBJ.)

In March, Uno folded another one of its fast-casual concepts, with Uno Fresco closing its restaurants in Stoneham, Newton, and Deer Park, NY; it is not known if Uno Fresco will return at some point in the future.

The original location of Uno Due Go is at 52 Summer Street, Boston, MA, 02111. The website for Uno can be found at http://www.unos.com/
