The Barmobile Is Coming to Boston

A new "food truck" is on its way to Boston, though its focus will not actually be on food.

Eater Boston is reporting that The Barmobile is going to be hitting the streets of the city, with the vehicle being a mobile cocktail catering service that (according to its Facebook page) brings "all your booze needs for any and all occasions!" According to EB, Kevin Mabry and Suzie Dagenais of jm Curley and Merrill & Co., and Domingo-martin Barreres of Bogie's Place within jm Curley are behind the truck, though it will not be affiliated with those dining spots.

The Facebook page for The Barmobile says the "truck" is a 1946 Flxible bus that is 30 feet in length.

In addition to Facebook, The Barmobile can also be found on Twitter at https://twitter.com/thebarmobile

[April 21 update: A new article from Eater Boston mentions that The Barmobile now has a Kickstarter campaign to help fix up the cocktail truck so it can get on the road. (The folks behind the truck are looking to raise $35,000 by May 15.)]

[May 12 update: According to a Twitter post sent out last night, The Barmobile has met its funding goal of $35,000.]
