Sweet Tooth Closes Its Downtown Crossing Location

A bakery with two locations in Boston is back down to just one, as it has closed its shop in the heart of the downtown area.

Eater Boston is reporting that Sweet Tooth at The Corner Mall in Downtown Crossing is no longer in business, with a post on the store's Facebook page indicating that it shuttered "due to a lack of foot traffic, unsanitary conditions within the Corner mall, and an ongoing contentious relationship with the landlord." Its original shop on West Broadway in South Boston remains open, and its products can also be found at the Walgreens in Downtown Crossing.

The downtown location of Sweet Tooth first opened its doors last fall, offering such items as cakes, cookies, cupcakes, brownies, tarts, and pies.

The address for this now-closed bakery in Downtown Crossing was: Sweet Tooth, 417 Washington Street, Boston, MA, 02108. Its website can be found at http://www.sweettoothboston.com/
