Lee's Burger Place Is Opening in Brookline's Coolidge Corner

A burger spot in Newton Centre is going to be opening a new location in one of the busiest sections of Brookline.

A note (and photo) sent by BostonTweet indicates that Lee's Burger Place is opening on Beacon Street in Coolidge Corner, with the address indicating that it is taking over the space where a location of Naked Pizza had been until closing in the summer of 2013. It is not yet known whether this is a second location of Lee's or a move from its space on Sumner Street in Newton Centre; as soon as we find out, we will post an update here.

[July 25 update: Eater Boston mentions that this is an expansion rather than a move, so there will ultimately be two locations of Lee's--one in Newton Centre and one in Brookline's Coolidge Corner. (The new location in Brookline is expected to open in October.)]

[December 9 update: A new post from Eater Boston indicates that Lee's Burger Place is now open in Brookline.]

Lee's Burger Place first opened in Newton in the fall of 2009, moving into the space where another burger spot (Flippin' Burgers) had once been.

The address for this new burger restaurant in Coolidge Corner is: Lee's Burger Place, 1331 Beacon Street, Brookline, MA, 02446.
