Homage Bistro Not Coming to Ten Tables Space in Cambridge After All

Over the winter, we reported that a new restaurant was planning to open in a residential part of Cambridge near Harvard Square, taking over the space where another dining spot currently resided. Well, now it appears that the plans have fallen through.

According to a post on its Facebook page, Homage Bistro will not be moving into the Ten Tables space at Craigie Circle after all, with the note saying that "Unfortunately our location in Cambridge did not work out." The note goes on to say that "We still want to move ahead and will do so once the perfect location for Homage Bistro presents itself. What town, city or square do you think is lacking a great farm to fork bistro?"

The status of the Cambridge location of Ten Tables is not known at this point in time. (Ten Tables also has a location in Jamaica Plain.)

[April 17 update: Based on a post within the restaurant jobs section of the BostonChefs.com site, it appears that Ten Tables in Cambridge is going nowhere--at least for now--as it is currently looking for a line cook for that location.]

[April 20 update: Eater Boston confirms the update above, saying that owner Krista Kranyak has indeed decided to keep the Cambridge location of Ten Tables open.]
