Troquet in Boston Is Planning to Open a Second Location

A high-end French restaurant and wine bar in the heart of Boston is looking to expand, with a second location on the way.

Eater Boston is reporting (via a job post within the BostonChefs.com site) that Troquet on Boylston Street is planning to open a second spot and is currently looking for workers, including a chef de cuisine. It is not yet known where the new location of Troquet will be (and it has not been completely confirmed that it will even be called Troquet--a message sent to the restaurant has not been answered as of yet), so keep checking back for updates.

[March 26 update: A note from Troquet indicates that they are still looking at locations in the local area for their new restaurant and are getting closer to deciding where they will be.]

Troquet, which first opened in 2001 across from Boston Common, is known in part for its award-winning wine list as well as its French and New England fare.

The address for the original Troquet in downtown Boston is 140 Boylston Street, Boston, MA, 02116. Its website can be found at http://troquetboston.com/
