Food and Wine Magazine Includes The Gallows, Stoddard's Among Its Top Gastropub Picks

A popular magazine has come out with its picks for best gastropubs in the United States, and a couple of dining and drinking spots in Boston have been included.

A recent article/slideshow from Food & Wine Magazine features 27 top gastropubs across the country, with The Gallows in the South End and Stoddard's Fine Food & Ale in Downtown Crossing being on the list. The article talks about the "weekly-changing seasonal menu," regional beer favorites, and special cocktails for the former and the "15 feet high and 30 feet long" bar that "was imported from the UK" as well as the beer list and hearty pub fare for the latter.

Other gastropub picks by Food & Wine Magazine include The Spotted Pig and Jimmy's No. 43 in Manhattan and Allswell in Brooklyn.
