Sel de la Terre to Close Final Location (in Natick)

What was once a trio of French restaurants in the Boston area has dwindled to one, and now we have learned that its final location will be closing soon.

Eater Boston mentions (via Chowhound) that Sel de la Terre at the Natick Mall in Natick is going to shut its doors on January 1, joining other locations that have closed at Boston's Long Wharf in April of 2011 and the Back Bay in January of this year. As of now, it appears that owner Frank McClelland's other businesses--L'Espalier and Au Soleil Catering in the Back Bay and Apple Street Farm in Essex--will remain open.

[December 30 update: According to information posted on its website and Facebook page, New Year's Eve (tomorrow) will be Sel de la Terre's last night in operation.]

The Natick location of Sel de la Terre has been open for approximately 13 years.
