Sheryl Julian, Boston Globe Take Second Place in Best Newspaper Food Coverage Once Again

The Association of Food Journalists has announced its 2013 winners, and once again it includes a Boston newspaper and its food editor.

According to a post on the Eater site, Sheryl Julian and The Boston Globe were awarded second place for Best Newspaper Food Coverage above 200,000 circulation by the Association of Food Journalists (AFJ), which makes this the second year in a row that Julian and the Globe food section have been given that honor. And as was the case last year, the San Francisco Chronicle was awarded first place.

Sheryl Julian has written and edited several food-based books, including "The Way We Cook" and "The New Boston Globe Cookbook." She also trained at the Cordon Bleu schools in Paris and London.
