Boston Super Dog Plans to Open a Brick-and-Mortar Restaurant in the Fenway Neighborhood (Again)

In late 2010, we reported that a landmark hot dog wagon in Boston was possibly going to expand, with a brick-and-mortar restaurant in the works for the Fenway section of the city. A year later, these plans fell through, but now we have learned that they are back on again.

Eater Boston is reporting that Gregg Gale, who is the owner of Boston Super Dog (formerly Speed's Famous Hot Dog Wagon) in Newmarket Square has a space in Fenway secured, with a Twitter post from the Super Dog page saying that he is "looking for an investor for a brick and mortar have building already by Fenway." It is not yet known what the exact address is, though the earlier plans from 2010 had been to open on Peterborough Street; as soon as we find out more, we will post an update here.
