The Taco Truck to Open a Brick-and-Mortar Restaurant in the Boston Area

A New Jersey-based taco restaurant that also has several food trucks--including one in Boston--is planning to open a permanent eatery somewhere in the Boston area.

Grub Street Boston is reporting that The Taco Truck is going to be opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant in the local area, with information from a Craigslist job post indicating that it could be coming to Malden. (The job post also says that "multiple locations" will be coming to the Boston market "quickly.") A Twitter post from The Taco Truck seems to confirm the opening of a permanent spot, as it responds to GS by saying "Cats out of the bag!"

[October 8 update: There is still no word on where exactly the brick-and-mortar restaurant from The Taco Truck is going to be, but a new Craigslist job post (as shown in an Eater Boston article) reiterates that it is indeed still coming to the area.]

Currently, The Taco Truck has a restaurant in Hoboken as well as trucks in Hoboken, Jersey City, Newark,  New York City, and Boston. Their website can be found at http://www.thetacotruck.com/
