Adrian's Restaurant in North Truro Has Closed

A popular Cape Cod restaurant that was the site of a 2011 pop-up dining spot created by a couple of Boston folks has closed its doors for good.

Wicked Local Wellfleet is reporting that Adrian's Restaurant on North Truro has shut down after being in business for 28 years. The article states that the husband and wife who were behind the place--Annette and Adrian Cyr--have decided to "end this chapter in our lives and begin another," with future plans being unknown at the time, though Annette says that they would "love to combine food and education in some way."

Last summer, Adrian's hosted a pop-up restaurant from the same folks (Will Gilson and Aaron Cohen of Eat Boston) who have been behind Boston-area pop-ups at the Mizu Salon in the Back Bay, the Boston Center for Adult Education in downtown Boston, Taza Chocolate and Bloc 11 in Somerville, and Mohr & McPherson in the South End. The New York-based Big Gay Ice Cream Truck also set up shop there last summer.

The address for this now-closed dining spot on the Cape was: Adrian's Restaurant, 535 U.S. Route 6, North Truro, MA, 02652.
