Pizza Pie-er Is Opening in South Boston

A gourmet pizza place with locations in Cambridge and Providence is going to be opening a new shop in South Boston.

According to @AlexJ_May on Twitter (and confirmed by an old licensing board PDF page on the City of Boston website), Pizza Pie-er is going to be opening on Old Colony Avenue, moving into the space where Kiley's Tavern used to be. Based on the menus at their shops in Cambridge's Inman Square and Providence, expect the new place to have pizzas with a wide variety of topping and sauce options, including walnuts, sausage, shrimp, artichoke hearts, prosciutto, spinach, broccoli, white sauce, red sauce, and puttanesca sauce.
